Story
The earnest honor student Shiina Chizuru. Shunned even by her own grade due to her strong sense of justice, she had come to hold faint feelings for Tsukino, the one teacher who alone stood up for her. Then one day, she's told by another teacher, Tamura, that Tsukino has been embezzling school funds. Chizuru wants to believe it's some kind of mistake, but Tamura exploits her feelings and demands "something in exchange for keeping quiet"... *The secondary audio track is not included. *Bonus footage is not included.
Our take
The opening entry of the Chizuru Kaihatsu Nikki OVA series sets up the cast: an honor student isolated by her own seriousness, the one teacher she trusts, and the colleague who forces his way between them.
The design runs sweet, with deep violet hair and red purple eyes under oversized highlights. The main stage is an after hours library where amber shelves and warm lamp light fill the frame, dust scattered through the backlight like lens flare.
