Story
A happy married life, and from the next wedding anniversary they'd start baby-making in earnest... Azuma Norihito and his wife Hiyori believed their happiness would go on forever. But because Norihito caused a major loss at his company, to take responsibility for it, Hiyori becomes the secretary of the company president and, "for three months, handles the president's sexual needs." She keeps enduring extreme sexual harassment to support her younger husband Norihito, but... *Bonus footage is not included.
Our take
Himawari wa Yoru ni Saku is a netorare hentai anime whose title, a sunflower against night, sets the temperature of the piece. It stays inside an office: the president room, a corridor, a reception sofa, across a three month term.
The color work leans on skin. Sweat catches hard highlights and the cheeks run red, while backgrounds stay in desaturated grey and beige. Hiyori has chestnut hair and a blouse with a red ribbon, set against a much older man, and the size difference builds the tension in each frame.
