Story
One day, after an unexpected accident, the protagonists wash ashore on a remote island swept by an epidemic "heat virus" — one that, if you don't take semen into your body, eventually kills you. The only male on the island is the protagonist, "Creepy Guy," who used to be bullied by his class. As Akira, who seems to have no interest in sex, and the timid Yumi come to accept Creepy Guy, only Ai, the ringleader of the bullying, still can't bring herself to accept him. Yumi flaunts her sex with Creepy Guy in front of Ai, who is suffering from the virus's symptoms, but... *Note: no bonus footage is included.
Our take
Island survival meets schoolgirl hentai anime in Ura Jutaijima, an OVA from Lune Pictures adapted from a visual novel.
Color does the heavy lifting. Tropical blues, palm trees, tanned skin and bright green twintails give the front cover the glare of a summer poster, while interior scenes drop into purple shadow. The gap between those two registers carries the mood.
Akira, Yumi and Ai arrive with their classroom hierarchy intact, and the opening chapter spends its time setting that board. Check the sample images to see whose composure gives out first.
